Machine and product safety services

Whether you are in charge of a product or their production, our services help you make sure that it's safe.

Managing safety requirements

We help you sort out all legal requirements, directives and standards for your products and machines, and find out any market specific requirements. We perform risk assessment and check the compliance of the machine in accordance with e.g. Machinery Directive, Low Voltage Directive (LVD), EMC Directive and Pressure Equipment Directive (PED).

We prepare the necessary product safety documents, such as safety instructions and warnings about remaining risks. In addition, we define the safety levels of the machine and verify that the required levels are reached. We also offer conformity assessments for your products, so you can be sure that your product meets all the requirements.

Risk assesment

We do risk assessments for machines, chemicals and production hazards. Risk assessment based on the ISO 12100 standard serves as a good basis. We will effectively take charge of the entire risk assessment process including the identification of different hazards, scoring the risks and making mitigation plans.

Functional safety

We determine the required performance level for the system and verify it with Sistema. If necessary, our engineering team implements the design of security functions according to the required performance level (PLr).

CE marking

Coresbond provides you with all the necessary documentation for CE marking: risk assessments, operating and maintenance instructions as well as operation descriptions. We prepare the declaration of conformity and, if necessary, compile the content of the technical file. If agreed separately, we can also act as an authorized representative of the manufacturer in producing CE marking documentation. Naturally, we are always responsible for the compliance of the machines or e.g. the lifting aid devices that we supply.

Production safety

We help you make sure that your machines and equipment are safe to use. We assess risks, plan safety measures and implement changes as needed. If you're thinking about safety modernization or adding security devices and/or other technical safety solutions, we can deliver them as turnkey projects.

We have experience also with production layout and traffic planning as well as the safety of internal logistics and e.g. lifting. We also know the processes for chemical safety, so if you need help with the safe storage or handling chemicals, we can help you.

Trainings

We can arrange customized safety trainings related to machines, functionality or chemicals. We have e.g. trained our customers' own safety personnel.
